Ukraine War - Children Statistics

One Week into the Conflict

According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, 8 million people were displaced in Ukraine within three months of the Russian invasion.

The war has destroyed civilian infrastructures and caused massive civilian casualties. After one year of the siege, the United Nations reported that over 14 million fled their homes. More than 90% of the Ukrainian refugees are women and children.

The conflict in Ukraine has created Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II and the largest refugee crisis of the 21st century.
